There will be workers in your company that will need more than just the ability to log timesheets for a single worker. These workers will need to have a user account and login using an email and password. Below is how to setup a user and their permissions. This includes your admin staff and foremen for your company.
Setting up a new user
- Under the 'People' heading, select the 'People' tab. The page should open to the 'Users' page immediately, but if it does not, you can navigate there by clicking the 'Users' tab.

- Populate the user's details. The two parts of the name and the email address are required but the phone number is optional.
- When the user's details are populated, click 'Create user'.
- The user will be created, an invite email will be sent to the email address provided. This will contain a link which allows a password to be set. This way we also know that the email address is reachable and can be used in the future for password resets.
- The email address you provide here is the email address the new user account will login with. You can change this email until they log in for the first time. After that, they must change it themselves.

- This user account cannot share an email address with another employee, including lower-permission workers. If you want to give a pre-existing worker higher permissions, follow the process below.
