Project settings

To update and edit your projects details, you can use the 'Settings' menu.

• From the navigation taskbar on the left, select the 'Settings' at the bottom. 

Here you can:

• Update the name of the project
• Change the project status
• Edit the project reference
• Set or change the project address
• Set or update the project description
• Change the project type
• Set or edit the project start and complete date
• See detailed worker charge out rates, or override incorrect rates
• Set or edit default purchase and sales account
• Set or change primary contact details for the project
• Set and define profit margins

  • Profit margins are percentages that define your desired profit margins on each type of section. Generally, this margin will be used to calculate quote figures from a budget.

  • These are set within your Company Settings. When clicking the link below each heading, you will be directed to your Company Settings to adjust your default percentage.
